Bloomberg is excited to announce that it has won the Securitization Data Provider of the Year award at the 2020 GlobalCapital European Securitization Awards held on March 4, 2020 in London, United Kingdom.

Chosen from a shortlist which included four of the firm’s peers, this accolade confirms that Bloomberg is recognized by the capital markets industry as a leader in the financial data management space. Bloomberg is honored to accept this award and continues to expand its data securitization capabilities to meet the ever-changing needs of its current and future clients.

Bloomberg’s increased coverage of the European Securitization market with reference data and analytics is helping issuers, market makers and investors comply with new regulatory obligations and brings transparency to this asset class. The expansion of our cashflow models to include new asset sectors like CLOs and non-performing loan securitizations, and the integration of these with our Risk tools (MARS) providing our clients with enterprise solutions to run their portfolios and stress-test processes, were also key in this achievement.

GlobalCapital’s Awards shortlist was determined by the publication’s editorial team and Bloomberg was chosen as the winner by votes from the public. The award’s objective is acknowledging the achievements made by institutions in the structured finance space and to highlight leaders achievements over the past year.
