Bloomberg Index Services Limited Receives Recognition Under the EU Benchmark Regulation

London – The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has granted Recognition to Bloomberg Index Services Limited (BISL) as a third-country benchmark administrator under Article 32 of the EU Benchmark Regulation (EU BMR). This supports the continued availability of BISL’s EU Paris-aligned and EU Climate Transition benchmarks in the EU. ESMA’s decision will apply from 1 January 2026.

In addition to ESMA’s Recognition, BISL is authorised by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority to conduct benchmark administration under the UK Benchmark Regulation and is listed on the FCA Register.
