Bloomberg And Smart Connections Partner On Czech-Language Edition, Bloomberg Businessweek Česko

Prague, Czech Republic, October 22, 2014 – Bloomberg and Smart Connections today announced plans to publish Bloomberg Businessweek Česko, a Czech-language edition of the award-winning magazine starting in late November 2014. Under terms of the publishing agreement, Smart Connections will also produce a Czech-language edition of Bloomberg Pursuits, Bloomberg’s award-winning global luxury lifestyle magazine.

Bloomberg Businessweek Česko will be published every two weeks and will feature global content from Bloomberg’s 2,400 journalists worldwide, including its bureau in Prague. Smart Connections will be responsible for integrating locally-focused business and financial content.

Overall, the magazine’s mission is to provide globally-minded business leaders with incisive analysis and unparalleled access to the CEOs, dealmakers and industrial elite around the world who are changing the face of business and finance. Kateřina Urbanová, the Czech publisher’s co-owner and editor-in-chief of its flagship magazine Svět Průmyslu, will also serve as the editor-in-chief of Bloomberg Businessweek’s Czech-language edition.
