Singapore, April 22, 2025 – Bloomberg has announced a funding and capability-building boost for local charities with the launch of its Data for Good Exchange (D4GX) program in Singapore, at The Majurity Conversations event, held at The Foundry.
The program empowers eligible Singapore-registered charities to unlock the power of data by building capability and knowledge of ways to best apply their datasets for greatest impact. At the completion of the D4GX program, six sector-leading Singapore charities will share a total of S$360,000 in grants to help enhance their operations, make better-informed decisions, and innovate new service standards using advanced data to super-charge their impact.
Singapore-registered charities can start their data transformation journey by applying for the inaugural D4GX 2025 Cohort. The process includes:
- D4GX 2025 Cohort Application: From April 22, Singapore-registered charities can apply for the D4GX Program here. Up to 60 charities dedicated to leveraging data for social good will be selected for the D4GX 2025 Cohort.
- D4GX Summit: On June 11, 2025, an inaugural summit will convene the D4GX 2025 Cohort. Up to 60 charities will gain insights from industry and government leaders and participate in hands-on workshops to enhance fundamental data skills. Following the Summit, the 2025 D4GX Cohort will be invited to apply for the D4GX grant and accelerator program. They will be asked to unpack their organization’s strategy and capabilities and to identify a data challenge or problem to explore.
- Grant and Accelerator Program: Six charities will be selected from the Cohort in the beginning of August. They will join a three-month grant and accelerator program supported by The Majurity Trust and talenTtrust. These six charities will receive mentoring from data and technology experts to develop a data solution. Each charity will receive S$60,000 in funding from Bloomberg to implement their data-driven solution.
