Bloomberg Awarded Four Wins at ETF Express US Awards 2022

November 09, 2022

Bloomberg is pleased to announce it was named recipient of four ETF Express US Awards for 2022. Winning categories include:

  • Best Index Provider – Fixed Income ETFs
  • Best Index Provider – Commodity ETFs
  • Best ETF platform
  • Best ETF data vendor

This recognition as “Best Index Provider” for both fixed income and commodity ETFs speaks to Bloomberg’s continued focus on expansion and innovation within its leading fixed income and commodity index families. The Bloomberg Fixed Income Indices remain the most widely used in the industry for fixed income investors seeking objective, rules-based and representative benchmarks to measure asset class risk and return.  Bloomberg’s commodity indices are a family of financial benchmarks designed to provide liquid and diversified exposure to physical commodities via futures contracts and includes the flagship Bloomberg Commodity Index (BCOM), a leading benchmark for the asset class.

In addition, Bloomberg has won “Best ETF Platform” and “Best ETF Data Vendor,” highlighting its comprehensive ETF solutions underpinned by the news, pre-and post-trade analytics and communication tools and a database of ETFs complete with the reference data, classifications, and performance information necessary for market analysis on The Bloomberg Terminal.

These award wins are a recognition of Bloomberg’s dedication to remaining nimble to meet clients’ needs for ETF solutions that can easily navigate times of volatility and changing economic environments. Bloomberg’s offerings provide access to the data and tools clients need to react to changing markets, and provide deep access to liquidity, including more than 90 liquidity providers through RFQe*, Bloomberg’s global ETF trading solution.

Annually, the ETF Express US Awards are designed to recognize excellence among ETF issuers and service providers in the US across key areas of the large and diverse US ETF ecosystem, including equity, fixed income, commodity, smart beta, thematic, active and ESG. Nominated firms for the service provider categories are based on a widespread survey of more than 400 issuers and other key industry participants, and the voting for all of the winners is conducted via an online poll by the ETF Express readership, which is carried out over a period of several weeks.
