Moreover, our profits fuel the work undertaken by Bloomberg Philanthropies, whose mission is to create better, longer lives for the greatest number of people.
We believe sustainability is smart business, and we’re always finding greener ways of working. Like our new data center in New York, which is the second data center and the 17th building in the world to earn LEED – Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design – certification. It recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices.
And we’re helping others to be more sustainable, too. For instance, we recently made a major investment in analytical tools for the green bond market, which finances projects that address climate change.

Bloomberg University gives everyone here a chance to keep learning. It has courses that will teach you technical skills, and modules that will make you better at your job in lots of other ways. You can take them in the classroom, or go at your own pace online. We have training in communicating more effectively, financial markets, leadership, and coding, to name just a few.
