Marshall is number 20 on the overall ranking of US business schools. The Los Angeles-based school is known for an “emphasis on real-world problem solving skills over theory or historic review,” as one graduate writes; and “The Trojan Family Spirit - experienced it across peer-to-peer learning and the strong alumni network!,” from another. The alumni network is extensive and a major asset for students. Marshall offers strong connections to the Pacific Rim and well-regarded programs in entrepreneurship and marketing.

Of the five indexes this ranking is based on — Compensation, Learning, Networking, Entrepreneurship and Inclusion — USC (Marshall) ranked 17th in Entrepreneurship, 20th in Networking, 23rd in Compensation, 33rd in Inclusion and 42nd in Learning. Index scores are based on student and alumni survey responses as well as salary data the school reports to MBA CSEA.
