UC at Berkeley (Haas)

Haas is number 3 on the overall ranking of US business schools. The Berkeley-based school is known for an innovative culture, shaped by four “Defining Leadership Principles,” as the school calls them: 1) question the status quo; 2) confidence without attitude; 3) students always; and 4) beyond yourself. One graduate, indicating what is best about the program, writes: “Caliber of students in terms of balancing intellectual rigor, humility/down-to-earth, and career success.”

Of the five indexes this ranking is based on — Compensation, Learning, Networking, Entrepreneurship and Inclusion — UC at Berkeley (Haas) ranked 2nd in Entrepreneurship, 5th in Networking, 8th in Learning and 10th in Compensation and Inclusion. Index scores are based on student and alumni survey responses as well as salary data the school reports to MBA CSEA.
