Aug. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Wind and rain sweep the trees and streets surrounding city hall in New Orleans as tropical storm Isaac, downgraded from hurricane status, makes its way toward the city. Isaac pounded the Gulf Coast with wind, rain and flooding, and while levees protecting New Orleans held, residents had to be rescued from rooftops in inundated southeastern Louisiana.
