Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Chris Rupkey, chief financial economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, discusses the report on U.S. durable goods orders in January released today and the economy. Bookings for equipment meant to last at least three years minus demand for things such as aircraft, which is often volatile, climbed 1.9 percent, Commerce Department data showed today in Washington.
