Aug. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Deputy White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest talks about the Obama administration's call for Egyptian security forces to excercise restraint in dealing with protesters and opposition to the return to emergency law in Egypt. The Egyptian government's declaration of a state of emergency and the storming of camps of protesters that left scores dead will “only make it more difficult” to move toward reconciliation in the country, Earnest said at the daily White House news briefing.
