Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Dirk Gates, CEO of Xirrus, a Wi-Fi technology company, builds model rockets that cost tens of thousands of dollars, take months to build, and need special FAA clearance before they can be launched. In the fourth installment of "Off the Clock," Bloomberg caught up with Gates in the middle of the California desert, at an event called "Roc-tober" where he explained the connection he sees between firing off rockets and being an entrepreneur.
