Record Trek: Six Months of Darkness, -158 Degrees

Famed explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes is attempting to do what no man has ever done before: walk across Antarctica during winter. The trek, which is expected to take six months, will be done in almost permanent darkness in temperatures as low as minus 70 degrees Celsius, or negative 158 Fahrenheit.
