Rio Tinto CEO Albanese Resigns Over $14B Write-Down

Jan. 17 (Telegraph) -- Bloomberg's Tom Keene reports that Tom Albanese suddenly resigned as chief executive of mining giant Rio Tinto over a $14bn write-down of its assets following bad deals, stating that “accountability” for the hit rested with him.
