How did you go from being someone who when you were younger, delivering pizza, you also caddied i think more mike ditka, i read, some interesting stuff.

Well, -- your own pizza place.

I love pizza and when i got to school, i went to school here in new york and when i got here they didn't have deep dish pizza which i thought was crazy.

You whack around new york, you can eat foods from all these countries that i've never even heard of.

Then in chicago, everyone eats this stuff.

I think a lot of new yorkers have this complex where, they think if you're living in chicago you're camping or on some farm.

Chicago's a real city and this is real pizza.

What's interesting is, you know, restaurants open all the time in new york and a lot of them fail.

How did you know that this was kind of the right place and the right time to do it?

You should try the pizza.

I will say that i've never really worked in a restaurant before.

You had a job in finance, zibblet you?

Yes.

And there wasn't a lot of correlation.

So getting the restaurant open was -- there were some speed bumps but like they say, anything worth having is worth fighting for.

The bet was really on the pizza.

And people are responding pretty well to it.

You feel like if you have a good pizza, it doesn't matter?

Yeah.

Somebody who is thinking about starting a business or something, is it all timing?

I think the important thing is if you're doing something that you like, it's fun.

And for me, i think a lot of people said, ok, what the hell are you doing?

Why are you maybe leaving your job in finance or whatever.

But this is what makes me happy.

And i think that's why it's been successful.

Some lines out here at your place.

People lining up for pizza.

It takes a while so order early.

It does.

The thing, is we're getting a lot of people showing up at the peak dinner time.

At that time it's quite a line.

It takes $35 -- it takes 35 minutes to bake so put your order in early.
