Feb. 4 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. President Barack Obama speaks about his administration's efforts to give public school students access to advanced broadband and wireless technology. Obama, speaking at Buck Lodge Middle School in Adelphi, Maryland, said companies including Apple Inc., Microsoft Corp., Verizon Communications Inc., AT&T Inc., Sprint Corp., Autodesk Inc. and O’Reilly Media Inc. are making $750 million in commitments to help give students the latest technology and training.
