Aug. 2 (Bloomberg) -- This Sunday Bloomberg Government's "Capitol Gains" examines the energy policy debate no one saw coming. 10 years ago the U.S. was looking to import natural gas from around the world. Now thanks to the shale boom, the industry wants to make the U.S. a net gas exporter. It could create jobs and profits, but could it raise prices here at home? Dominion CEO Tom Farrell tells Peter Cook that boosting exports are in the national interest and any price increase will be manageable for the company's customers. "There’s a sea of gas...It will help the development of that to have more markets available. It’s going to be better for Americans." (Source: Bloomberg)
