July 26 (Bloomberg) -- On "Capitol Gains" airing Sunday, host Peter Cook digs deeper into the mystery behind Oregon's "rogue" wheat. Two months after genetically modified wheat was discovered on an Oregon farm, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack tells Cook that the investigation continues, but the Department has not found the wheat anywhere else. "I’m not willing to rule in or out anything at this point," Vilsack tells Cook when asked if sabotage is a possibility. "We are very confident that it’s an isolated incident. Very confident that it did not and does not pose any threat to the food supply." The discovery triggered some of America's biggest wheat buyers to impose restrictions on exports from the U.S. South Korea and Taiwan have eased their restrictions, and Vilsack says he's hopeful Japan will ease their limits next month.
