My reaction is a quick one, i can only speculate, but i'm guessing the offer that was made was not well received and i'm also guessing rupert murdoch cap determined that unless time warner was willing to engage, he was going to have a hard time accomplishing what he wanted to accomplish.

It's a tough thing to do under hostile circumstances.

Again, i can only speculate that rupert didn't want to pursue it under hostile circumstances, but i don't know that for sure.

Do you see the opportunities for the walt disney company as part of this, whether it's an opportunity for you to jump into the, or are there any assets that time warner has that interest you in some way?
