Goldman Selects Harvey Schwartz to Succeed Viniar

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has selected Harvey M. Schwartz as the successor to Chief Financial Officer David A. Viniar, who guided the firm through its 1999 initial public offering and the 2008 financial crisis and plans to end his 32-year career at the company in January.
