Jan. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Kathy Matsui, chief Japan strategist and co-head of economics, commodities and strategy (ECS) research in Asia for Goldman Sachs Group Inc., talks about her career and interest in gender issues that is at the core of her research into "Womenomics." She published the first womenomics report in August 1999, arguing that equalizing roles in the workforce was a better solution to Japan’s shrinking labor pool than loosening immigration laws or raising the birth rate. Matsui spoke with Bloomberg's Yoshiaki Nohara in Tokyo on Dec. 18. (Source: Bloomberg)
