GM Unveils Cadillac ELR Plug-In Hybrid in Detroit

Jan. 15 (Bloomberg) -- General Motors Co. executives unveil the 2014 Cadillac ELR plug-in hybrid at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The electric-drive Cadillac is expected to go on sale in 2014 and will compete most directly with offerings from luxury electric-car start-ups Tesla Motors Inc. and Fisker Automotive Inc.
