Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- The $50 million restoration of Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin Martin House complex in Buffalo, New York, has been central to the city's determination to reassert itself as a cultural center, and as an architectural destination. Finished in 1905, the 15,000 square foot residence in the historic Parkside section of Buffalo cost what was then a staggering $175,000. Wright called it his “domestic symphony.” (Source: Bloomberg)
