Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Karnit Flug, former Bank of Israel Governor Stanley Fischer's deputy, was nominated yesterday by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a bid to wrap up a selection process that left the central bank without a permanent chief since June. Flug has been the caretaker governor since Fischer's departure. Elliott Gotkine reports from Tel Aviv on Bloomberg Television's "Countdown" with Mark Barton. (Source: Bloomberg)
