June 18 (Bloomberg) -- Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen speaks at a news conference in Washington about the U.S. economy and labor market, and the outlook for the central bank's main interest rate and record monetary accommodation. Yellen said policy makers have the necessary tools to raise interest rates at the appropriate time and that the Fed will continue to hold a large balance sheet “for some time.” She speaks following a meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee.
