EU's Van Rompuy Proposes 7-Year Budget Plan

Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's European Editor David Tweed reports that European Union President Herman Van Rompuy proposed a seven-year budget with 960 billion euros ($1.3 trillion) of spending commitments and 908.4 billion euros of payments. He speaks on Bloomberg Television's "Countdown."
