June 5 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Dominic Chu reports that a special Dell Inc. board committee urges acceptance of a takeover bid by founder Michael Dell over an offer by Carl Icahn. Icahn's offer was found deficient because of a projected $3.9 billion shortfall in liquidity needed to pay a proposed dividend. He speaks on Bloomberg Television's "In The Loop."
