Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Canadian business leaders including Power Corp. of Canada's Paul Desmarais Jr. and his son Paul Desmarais III are among 24 civilians who are spending C$20,000 ($18,240) each to join a dozen soldiers on an Arctic trek in April to raise awareness of the physical and mental injuries suffered by Canada’s military. The duo is among members of Canada’s corporate elite who gathered 50 kilometers north of Ottawa to train alongside veterans for what’s billed as the largest expedition to ski to the North Magnetic Pole.
