July 29 (Bloomberg) -- Joel Tarver, senior manager for digital marketing at oilfield services company Baker Hughes Inc., envisioned a video game application that would appeal to geeks and roughnecks. After getting the go-ahead from supervisors, Tarver along with support from a few team members developed Bit-Tacular. The game, which is available for free through Apple Inc.'s iTunes store, challenges players to break through neon-colored boulders with the aid of whirling drill bits. (Source: Bloomberg)
