March 4 (Bloomberg) –- The U.S. Army, in partnership with Lockheed Martin, just unveiled its new self-driving vehicle technology, which will help to keep soldiers out of hostile environments. The $11M Autonomous Mobility Appliqué System enables almost any Army vehicle to navigate autonomously through both rural and urban environments, negotiating obstacles like pedestrians, intersections and oncoming traffic.
