Feb. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Doug Parker, chief executive officer of US Airways Group Inc., and Tom Horton, CEO of AMR Corp.'s American Airlines, speak at a news conference in Dallas about the merger of the two airlines. US Airways, spurned in three prior merger attempts, will combine with bankrupt American Airlines in an $11 billion all-stock deal to create the world's largest carrier. Parker will run the new airline, which will retain American's name, as Horton becomes chairman, the companies said. (Source: Bloomberg)
