June 20 (Bloomberg) -- Retired San Diego resident James Markam talks with Bloomberg's Ryan Flinn about his participation in a study to see if genetics are protecting him from illnesses. The 83-year old lost four siblings to cancer, heart disease and emphysema, all before they reached the age of 62.
