June 14 (Bloomberg) -- U.K. police began evicting the last Occupy London global equality campaigners from a site at Finsbury Square near the city’s financial district. Between 80 and 100 police officers are involved in the operation, which follows a High Court ruling that the area must be returned to community use. All but one protester, who took refuge in a tree, have been removed and the clearance was mostly peaceful with some small scuffles. Police were trying to talk the man down. (Source: Bloomberg)
