June 12 (Bloomberg) -- Airbus SAS Chief Operating Officer John Leahy speaks about wing cracks affecting the company's A380 superjumbo aircraft, competition, and the impact of the European Commission's emissions-trading system on the airline industry. Airbus said carriers flying the A380 will need to ground their planes for as long as eight weeks once the wings undergo permanent repair work that is more complex than an interim fix being done now. Leahy spoke with Bloomberg's Stephen Engle in Beijing yesterday. (Source: Bloomberg)
