Fed’s Lockhart on Prospects For New Round of QE

May 21 (Bloomberg) -- Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President Dennis Lockhart talks about the prospects of the Fed starting a new round of quantitative easing. Lockhart, speaking with reporters following a speech in Tokyo, said policy makers need to retain the option of a new round of bond buying to spur the U.S. expansion as it faces risks from the weak economies of Europe.
