May 10 (Bloomberg) -- Australian Finance Minister Penny Wong talks about the outlook for the nation's economy and currency. Prime Minister Julia Gillard said yesterday the first budget surplus in five years will give the central bank "maximum room" to lower borrowing costs as the currency’s strength hurts tourism and manufacturing. Wong also discusses Europe's debt crisis. She spoke with Bloomberg's Shraysi Tandon yesterday in Canberra.(Source: Bloomberg)
