April 13 (Bloomberg) -- Kevin Rendino, senior fund manager at BlackRock Inc., talks about JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s first-quarter earnings, the outlook for the company’s stock and the U.S. economy JPMorgan said net income fell 3.1 percent, a smaller decline than analysts estimated, to $5.38 billion, or $1.31 a share, as mortgage revenue surged and trading almost doubled from the fourth quarter.
