April 12 (Bloomberg) -- South Korea’s ruling party retained control of parliament in a boost to President Lee Myung Bak ahead of a North Korean rocket launch that may take place as early as today. The vote took place as the North readied the launch of a long-range rocket in defiance of international condemnation, plans that threaten a U.S. food aid deal and have roiled markets.
