March 23 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. President Barack Obama speaks at the White House about his nomination of Dartmouth College President Jim Yong Kim to head the World Bank. Kim, the first Asian-American tapped to head the lender that seeks to reduce global poverty, is a Seoul-born doctor and a U.S. citizen. He would succeed Robert Zoellick, who is stepping down when his term expires in June. (Source: Bloomberg)
