Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Jobless claims dropped by 19,000 to 366,000 in the week ended Dec. 10, the fewest since May 2008, Labor Department figures showed today. A separate Labor Department report showed the producer price index increased 0.3 percent last month after declining 0.3 percent in October. Manufacturing in the New York region expanded more than forecast in December to the highest level in seven months, says the New York Fed.
