Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Close your eyes and picture Santa Claus - what do you see? A jolly round man with a red suit and a white beard, of course. But Santa did not always look that way - Coca Cola advertising is responsible for creating this iconic image. In 1931, magazine ads for Coca-Cola debuted this new rendering of St. Nick, previously his image was seen as anything from an elf, to a tall gaunt man, dressed in tan and green, even animal skins. Bloomberg's Carol Massar takes a look at how one company changed a holiday forever. (Source: Bloomberg)
