Nov. 29 (Bloomberg) -- The Federal Communications Commission says it will not contest AT&T Inc.'s withdrawal of the company's application to buy T-Mobile USA Inc. AT&T and T-Mobile parent Deutsche Telekom AG said last week that they had withdrawn their FCC applications to focus on objections from antitrust authorities. The Justice Department is currently suing AT&T, arguing the $39 billion deal is anticompetitive, and a trial is set for February.
