Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Joe Paterno will retire as Penn State’s football coach after a record-setting career that spanned 46 years and 409 wins, saying he wishes he “had done more” amid a child-sex scandal involving a former assistant. Paterno, 84, said in a statement that he will leave one of college football’s most prestigious programs at the end of this season after 46 years in charge.
