Portales's Peabody on Morgan Stanley Earnings, Oct. 19

Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Charles Peabody, an analyst at Portales Partners LLC, talks about Morgan Stanley's third-quarter earnings and outlook. Morgan Stanley said net income was $2.2 billion, or $1.15 a share, compared with $131 million, or a loss of 7 cents a share after preferred dividends, a year earlier.
