Oct. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Social Security is the U.S. government's largest single program, paying out benefits to more than 50 million people this year. Republican presidential hopefuls have been warning of its looming demise. However, the latest report of the Social Security and Medicare Trustees says the program can pay promised benefits for the next 25 years. Bloomberg's Lizzie O'Leary reports. (Source: Bloomberg)
