Ron Paul Says Politics Played Role in S&P Downgrade

Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul of Texas says America will default on its debt again. On August 8 he spoke with Lisa Murphy and Adam Johnson on Bloomberg Television's "Downgrade: a Special Report." On October 11th at 7 pm ET, Bloomberg Television and The Washington Post, in partnership with WBIN-TV and host Dartmouth College, will present the first debate of the 2012 campaign focused exclusively on the issues voters consider most important - the economy, debt, deficits, taxes, trade and jobs.
