Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Pete Slaiby, head of Alaska operations for Royal Dutch Shell Plc, and Troy Izatt, chief operating officer for Tikigaq Corp., talk about Shell's plans to drill in the Arctic. The offshore fields the company is seeking U.S. permission to develop may contain oil valued at about $2.1 trillion, according to a study Shell commissioned from consulting company Northern Economics and the University of Alaska at Anchorage.
