Dish Network May Offer Streaming Movies

Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Paul Kedrosky, author of the Infectious Greed blog and a Bloomberg contributing editor, and Bloomberg's Alex Sherman talk about the possibility that Dish Network Corp. may stream Blockbuster films to challenge Netflix Inc. The second-largest U.S. satellite-TV provider will introduce a streaming-movie service next month, according to a person with direct knowledge of the plans. Kedrosky and Sherman, speaking with Emily Chang and Cory Johnson on Bloomberg Television's "Bloomberg West," also discuss Liberty Media Corp.'s Starz network's decision to let its content licensing agreement with Netflix lapse.
