Aug. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Irvin Midgett, a fourth-generation fisherman from Rodanthe, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, talks about damages caused by Hurricane Irene. On the night of Aug. 27, flooding from Irene destroyed his 6-acre campground on the Pamlico Sound. Sixty campsites, half of them with trailers on the lot, were wrecked by the flood. Midgett also lost a boat, and thousands of dollars in fishing equipment. He says he lacks the insurance and savings to build again. (Video and photography by Ted Richardson. Source: Bloomberg)
