Aug. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Clark Kelso, court-appointed receiver in charge of California's prison health care, talks with Bloomberg's Michael Marois about salaries for prison doctors and medical staff. California prison doctors earn more than counterparts in Texas, New York and Florida, data compiled by Bloomberg show. Almost 100 doctors, dentists and other medical practitioners were paid at least $300,000 last year to work behind bars, according to the California's controller's office.
